A 16-year-old female was referred with a sudden onset of fever, chills, headache, and weakness, painful swelling of the lymph nodes in the groin, armpit, and neck.
The patient had recently returned from a visit to a “dude ranch” in Colorado. Symptoms began 2-3 days after her return home.
No CNS or GI symptoms were reported.
There was no rash or other dermatologic symptoms noted.
